BERAK BERAK, May 24 (Hina) - The Croatian Government Commission for Missing and Detained Persons discovered another mass grave in the eastern Croatian village of Berak on Monday. The grave is believed to contain the bodies of 29 Croat
from Berak who went missing during the Serb aggression on the village in 1991 and 1992. The grave is ten metres deep and five metres wide, and according to facts gathered to date, the victims were brought to the site in a cargo vehicle. The grave, located in a swampy area, was discovered jointly by the Interior Ministry and the Commission for Missing and Detained Persons. Also present at the exhumation were Croatian returnees who have been protesting day and night since May 7th by a central cross erected for the victims of the Homeland War.
