BERAK BERAK, May 31 (Hina) - The remains of 16 victims of the Serb aggression on Croatia were exhumed from a mass grave in the eastern Croatian village of Berak on Monday. The remains will be taken to the Forensic Institute in the
eastern Croatian town of Vinkovci for identification. Thirteen families from Berak identified the remains as persons they had been looking for for eight years and who are on the list of missing persons, the commissioner for missing and detained persons, Marko Milos, said on Monday. The exhumations are also being conducted in a well near the centre of Berak. The remains of two victims, discovered 14 metres bellow the ground, will be exhumed in the upcoming days. According to witnesses, the remains of at least three victims of the Serb aggression on Berak are buried in the well. The exhumations will continue.(hina) it/ha
