SARAJEVO, June 16 (Hina) - The deadline for reclaiming socially-owned flats in the Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska has been extended in line with a decision by the High Representative for Bosnia-Herzegovina, read a statement
from the Office of the High Representative (OHR) in Sarajevo on Wednesday. According to the decision, all refugees and displaced people from Bosnia-Herzegovina who enjoyed tenancy rights before the war on the territory of Republika Srpska will be able to reclaim their flats until December 19 this year. The OHR has decided that the Bosnian Serb authorities are responsible for the three-month-long delay in the implementation of a law enabling refugees and displaced people to reclaim their flats, which was the reason for the extension of a previously determined deadline. July 4 remains the deadline for reclaiming tenancy rights in the Croat-Muslim entity
