ZAGREB, May 25 (Hina) - Croatia's Interior Ministry on Tuesday said June 1 was the final deadline by which citizens may surrender prohibited firearms. Prohibited firearms include automatic rifles, light machine-guns, submachine guns,
various explosive devices, bombs, Zolja hand-held rocket launchers, etc. Citizens who surrender the weapons by the June 1 deadline will not be asked to report their personal data nor data on the origin of the firearms. Those who fail to surrender the firearms by the deadline will be sentenced to between six months and three years in prison and a fine between US$3,000 and US$21,000.(hina) ha jn
