HR-TUDJMAN BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 3295 HINA ZAGREB, JUNE 15 PRESIDENT TUDJMAN FLIES TO SOUTH AFRICAZAGREB, June 15 (Hina) - Croatia's President Franjo Tudjman on Tuesday departed from Zagreb to the Republic of South Africa on a three-day visit where he will attend the ceremony of the inauguration of the new South African President, Thabo Mbeki, at the invitation of Nelson Mandela. Prior to his departure, Tudjman said his meeting with Croatian immigrants in that country would also be interesting for him. There are about eight and a half thousand people who seem to be preparing to move out, he said in that context. Asked whether he was expecting bilateral meetings with other presidents in South Africa, Tudjman said that at an event which would gather dozens of statesmen "bilateral meetings are inevitable because of mutual interests."
