KISTANJE, May 18 (Hina) - The United States Ambassador to Croatia, William Montgomery, and his associates visited the southern Croatian region of Knin on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, the US Ambassador visited the Kistanje municipality
where he met municipal officials, headed by Pasko Erak. The talks addressed the construction of 120 houses, which are being built by the Croatian Government for Croat refugees from Kosovo. Montgomery visited the site of construction works, which are also financed by the United States Government. The project would enable the return of displaced Croatian families to the area. Montgomery will also hold talks with Knin mayor Josip Odak and members of the Knin Housing Commission on the accommodation of Croat families who settled in the area and Serb returnees.
