ZAGREB, June 11 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Friday received a Chinese military delegation headed by deputy chief-of-staff Lt. Gen. Kui Fulin. According to a statement from President Tudjman's Office, the President
pointed out Croatia highly values China's position and role in the contemporary world. It was also said during talks it is necessary to intensify the good bilateral political relations on all levels, in keeping with extant possibilities and mutual wishes. Lt. Gen. Fulin conveyed the Chinese President's greetings and invitation to Tudjman to officially visit China, which the Croatian President accepted with pleasure. Also present at today's talks were President Tudjman's chief-of-staff Ivica Kostovic, army chief-of-staff Vice Admiral Davor Domazet Loso, the President's advisor for foreign affairs Neven Madey, and Tudjman's aide-de-camp Major General Kresimir Kaspar.
