ZAGREB, May 25 (Hina)- Following a strike threat due to unions opposing a draft law on the privatisation of Croatian Telecommunications (HT), Croatian Maritime Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications Minister Zeljko Luzavec held
talks with representatives of unions of the Croatian Post and Croatian Telecommunications. According to Luzavec's cabinet, the Communications Minister insisted that the strike be cancelled. Unions were presented with a draft plan of compulsory work for post and telecommunications if the strike took place after all. The unions announced a one-day general strike on May 28 in Croatian Post and Croatian Telecommunications companies.(hina) lml
