ZAGREB ZAGREB, June 8 (Hina) - The fourth international fair of the protection of persons and property "Interprotex'99" and the 15th international fair of heating, air condition and treatment of drinking water "Interklima" were
officially opened by Croatian Minister of Physical Planning, Construction and Housing, Marko Sirac, at the Croatian Fair (ZV) on Tuesday. Interprotex is being held on 11,000 square metres and is including 200 exhibitors from 20 countries. Interklima is presenting exhibits of 450 participants from 25 countries on 17,000 square metres. On the opening ceremony, Minister Sirac said that during the Homeland War 165,000 houses had been damaged, or one third of the entire housing stock. The Croatian Government intended to reconstruct houses and flats for 85,000 returnees by the end of this year. This project, however, will enter next year due to the economic difficulties an

On the opening ceremony, Minister Sirac said that during the

He predicted that 2000 would be a milestone for stimulation of the
country's economic development.
