VINKOVCI VINKOVCI, June 7 (Hina) - The remains of 16 victims of the Serb aggression on Croatia, exhumed near the eastern Croatian village of Berak about ten days ago, were taken to the Forensic Institute in Vinkovci for identification
on Monday. Fourteen victims, all Berak residents, have been identified. Also present during the identification were members of victims' families. Pathologists were not able to identify two bodies, due to the lack of evidence, said pathologist Ante Blazenovic. All of the victims died as the result of violence. Another 15 residents of Berak are still on the list of missing persons. Croatian returnees to Berak on Monday continued their peaceful protest which began on May 7.
