MOSTAR, May 25 (Hina) - Under the organisation of the Herzeg-Bosnian Chamber of commerce, Croat officials in bodies of authority in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Bosnian Federation met with representatives of prominent Croatian importers
to the country in Mostar on Tuesday. The talks focused on difficulties which occurred after a new customs system came into effect on May 13 between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. The introduction of 40 per cent higher customs tariffs will increase the price of goods imported into Bosnia-Herzegovina from Croatia could cause heavy consequences in business transactions, business people warned. Most Bosnian Federation and Croatian business people asked a new trade agreement to be signed between Croatia and the Bosnia-Herzegovina Council of Ministers, without customs burdens.
