SLAVONSKI BROD, May 17 (Hina) - Croatian peasants, dissatisfied with the situation in agriculture, will block traffic on Tuesday, as they had announced. Deputy president of the Croatian Peasants' Alliance, Darko Grivicic, told a news
conference on Monday in the eastern Croatian town of Slavonski Brod, the blockage would last for two hours. The Croatian Peasants' Alliance asked the Government some ten days ago to prohibit the import of agricultural products, an urgent payment of all debts, with interest and the buy off of all offered agricultural products, especially pigs. The Alliance also requested the payment of premiums for milk and money stimulation for other products to farmers and fishermen, and a correction of the buy-off price for this year's wheat.(hina) lml jn
