SARAJEVO, May 10 (Hina) - The office of Ante Jelavic, the Croat member on Bosnia-Herzegovina's three-man Presidency, severely condemned the recent attack against two reporters of the Rijeka-based daily Novi List in western Mostar. We
most severely condemn the brutal assault on a reporter, Robert Franko, and a photographer, Ronald Brmalj, as it was aimed against democratic achievements and was also the direct attack on the freedom of the media, the freedom of opinion, speech and public activities as well as the freedom of conscience," read a statement released by Jelavic's office. The office is expecting that responsible bodies of authorities will conduct an effective investigation and punish perpetrators in order to prevent recurrence of similar incidents.(hina) ms
