ZAGREB, May 3 (Hina) - The ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) parliamentary bench on Monday discussed two bills on the rationalisation and more efficient work of ministries and state administration bodies. The Croatian Immigration
Ministry will join the Ministry of Reconstruction and Development. Apart from the number of ministries, to be reduced from the current 20 to 17, the number of deputy prime ministers has also been agreed on. Instead of the current five there will be four, Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa said. Even though Matesa did not confirm that MPs should vote on the bills this week, the debate in both houses is expected to end during this week's session. The voting is to take place on Friday.
