ZAGREB, April 29 (Hina) - Employees of the Croatian press distribution company Tisak will not resume striking, but will not back out from a request for an investigation into where money from the company has "disappeared", the
company's union representative Stjepan Kolaric said on Thursday. As all obligations towards Tisak have been met, in line with a protocol signed last week by the Government, a consortium of six banks and the Croatian Privatisation Fund, Kolaric described the strike as successful. Tisak employees were on Thursday addressed by the chairman of the company's management board, Chris Bojanovic, who said he was glad to say that positive changes have occurred, so Tisak may continue its work. He said the company was only beginning to recuperate and it will not be easy for employees until the company "gets on its feet".(hina) lml jn
