ZAGREB, April 20 (Hina) - A coordination of unions of the newspaper distribution company "Tisak" has announced a general strike for Wednesday at 6 pm, should the government's decisions on the company's restructuring and financial
rehabilitation not be implemented by tomorrow noon, union representatives said at a meeting on Tuesday. The president of the strikers' committee, Zdravko Stefekov, said in case the government decisions were not implemented, all 35 "Tisak" branches throughout Croatia would go on strike, and drivers of "Tisak" trucks would prevent the distribution of newspapers. The government decision on the restructuring and financial rehabilitation of "Tisak" was adopted three weeks ago, however, a consortium of six Croatian banks, which are mostly owned by the state, has still not met the commitments it has taken over, nor has the Croatian Privatisation Fund (HFP) issued a statement on changes that have b
