Ministry sold 5,128 flats. In the past several years, a total of 29,904 flats were sold, Defence Ministry secretary, Predrag Haramija, said. The overall amount of money from the sold flats amounted to US$46.35 million, of which US$11.35 were paid immediately and the remaining amount of the debt will be paid in rates. According to the report, the Government Commission for housing and business premises sold a total of 1.038 state-owned flats from December 1995 until the end of 1998. This is 94.27 per cent of a total of 1.101 flats which have been taken over by the Republic of Croatia under the decree on taking over the ownership of the former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. MPs

MPs applauded the intention for the signing of the European
agreement on persons attending procedures before the European
