PETRINJA, April 28 (Hina) - Representatives of the Ministry of Croatian Soldiers of the Homeland War, headed by Assistant Minister Darinko Mikulic, on Wednesday visited three mass grave locations in Banovina (central Croatia). The
killed civilians and Croatian soldiers were found in mass graves on three locations after the "Storm" military and police operations during which Croatian regions were liberated from Serb occupation in the summer of 1995. Monuments will be erected on these sites to permanently mark the locations where soldiers and civilians were killed during the Homeland War. Before the end of the year, the Ministry will mark 15 mass grave sites across Croatia. The first two such monuments have been erected at the Ovcara farm, near the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar, and on a hill above Petrinja (central Croatia).(hina) lml
