ZAGREB, April 23 (Hina) - The Zagreb County Court on Friday extended his detention time for former Glumina Banka Board Management President Marko Marcinko to another month in prison. Marcinko was taken into custody on March 23 when he
was accused of illegal financial gain worth US$20.7 million, which caused financial damage to the Glumina Banka. The bank is currently under bankruptcy proceedings. Another four off-shore companies and three Glumina Group's employees were charged with the same crime. During the investigation, Marcinko said his business transactions were legal, adding that nobody suffered financial damage in business activities between the Glumina Banka and foreign companies.
