VARAZDIN CARITAS COLLECTS AND SENDS AID FOR KOSOVO REFUGEES VARAZDIN, April 17 (Hina) - The Caritas of Varazdin County has sent three articulated lorries of relief aid for Kosovo refugees since last Sunday. The humanitarian aid will
be shipped via Zadar to the Albanian port of Drac on April 22, the head of the Varazdin Caritas, Julijana Ilcic said on Saturday. The biggest donation including 50 tonnes of flour and 22 boxes of juice has been ensured by the food processing firm "Varazdinka". The veterinary station in Prelog has collected 72,000 eggs for this purpose. Canned food has been gathered in parishes in this area. On Tuesday, Caritas is to sent another articulated lorry with 20 tonnes of food. In addition, residents in the Varazdin County have also ensured 80,000 kuna for organising and dispatching the aid by fifth lorry.
