CROATIAN LOWER HOUSE RESUMES 38TH SESSION

ZAGREB, March 24 (Hina) - The Croatian National Parliament's House of Representatives resumed its 38th session on Wednesday. At the beginning of the sitting MPs observed a minute of silence in honour of recently died a Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) representative to the Sabor, Academician Zeljko Bujas. Subsequently, the lower house continued a discussion on the proposal of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) for the set-up of an investigative commission for determining circumstances under which arms of the then Croatian territorial defence had been impounded in 1990. The debate on the issue began some ten days ago. At the beginning of this session, Djurdja Adlesic of the Croatian Social and Liberal Party (HSLS) requested that some of officials from the Croatian Foreign Ministry or the Government should address the Sabor today and convey the country's standpoints on the latest developments in Kosovo and announced NATO
