Slavic department was attended by many Croatian intellectuals, and four Croatian professors - Vatroslav Jagic, Milan Resetar, Josip Hamm and Radoslav Katicic, worked as lecturers there. The central ceremony marking the 150th anniversary of Slavic studies in Vienna will be held on October 1-3. Today's meeting was organised by the Croatian Embassy in Austria, Croatia's Culture Ministry and the Croatian Historical Museum in Vienna, in cooperation with the Institute for Slavic Studies of the Vienna University and Austrian Academy of Sciences.(hina) rml
