ZAGREB, March 20 (Hina) - Eight two-week-long courses on the Croatian language for young people of Croat origin living abroad will be organised this summer by the Croatian organisation for emigrants, "Hrvatska Matica Iseljenika"
(HMI). During the summer school in July and August, young people of the Croat descent will be taught the Croatian language and have an opportunity to be better acquainted with Croatian culture and customs. Furthermore, the HMI will also prepare several cultural and folk music events. The youth from the Diaspora will also take part in the traditional programme of assistance in reconstruction of war-ravaged Croatian areas. During this year's "Task Force", scheduled from 17 July to 7 August, about 50 young people from a dozen countries will take part in the reconstruction of the eastern Croatian town of Ilok. During the summer school in July and August, young people of the
Croat descent will be taught the Croatian language and have an

During this year's "Task Force", scheduled from 17 July to 7 August,

reconstruction of the eastern Croatian town of Ilok. In the past
years, young men and women from the Croatian Diaspora helped
renovate Vocin, Gornji Brgat near Dubrovnik, Skradin and the
Plitvice Lakes.
