PRISTINA-BELGRADE ROAD BLOCKED BY SERB TROOPS AND TANKS PRISTINA, March 20 (Hina) - Serbian military forces, supported by tanks blocked the highway between Pristina and Belgrade on Saturday following Friday night's attack of the
Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) against a police station near Luzani, 18 kilometres north of Pristina. The Pristina-Belgrade road has been blocked by armoured vehicles and tanks, and occasional shooting reverberated through the area. Serbian sources accused the KLA fighters of having shelled the Luzani police station last night. There were no reports on any casualties. The same sources said KLA troops had also shelled and opened machine-gun fire at police stations in towns of Glogovac and Srbica. The KLA news agency "Kosovapress" reported on Saturday that at least 40 Serb tanks had moved toward Glogovac where a hundred military vehicles had already arrived on Friday evening.(hina) ms
