ZAGREB, March 19 (Hina) - Croatian Finance Minister Borislav Skegro on Friday held talks with World Bank representatives, headed by the director for Croatia, Arntraud Hartmann. The meeting assessed as positive the cooperation between
the World Bank and Croatia on 14 projects, and agreed on further forms and kinds of projects which will be directly financed or participated in by the World Bank, the Finance Ministry said. The World Bank is interested in maintaining conditions of macroeconomic stability in Croatia, and supports determined and urgent measures for solving current problems so the envisaged programme of privatisation of banks and public companies, and the adjustment of the health sector and pension system could continue, the statement said. In that context, the continuation of the cooperation programme and preparation of new projects with the World Bank will be expedited in the light of Croatia's
