JELAVIC ACCUSES TOP MUSLIM POLITICIANS OF MURDER ATTEMPT ON LEUTAR

MOSTAR, Mar 16 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BH), Ante Jelavic, on Tuesday accused the highest Bosnian Muslim officials of the attempted murder of deputy interior minister of the Bosnian Federation and high-ranking HDZ BH official Jozo Leutar. The attempted murder is a "continuation of terrorist acts with a political background", Bosnian Croat leader Jelavic said. He believes the Bosnian Muslim political leadership is also responsible for numerous earlier attacks on Bosnian Croats. "Instead of planned sabotages and terrorism, Bosnian Muslim political leaders should finally begin with a genuine implementation of Dayton peace agreement regulations," Jelavic told the beginning of a special HDZ BH Presidency session in Mostar. "The Croat people sees this terrorist attack as the most direct message saying that Croats have nothing to seek in a BH of this kind and in Sarajevo which should be BH's capital," he added. Jelavic assessed as unviable the position of the remaining Croats in Sarajevo. "The shot at Mr. Leutar is a shot at all highest-ranking joint institutions of BH's three equal peoples (...)
