SARAJEVO, March 16 (Hina) - Deputy Interior Minister of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jozo Leutar, has sustained severe injuries to his head and chest in Tuesday's attempt on his life, said Dr Osman Duric, head of the doctors'
consultation following Leutar's condition. "Computer diagnosis has shown that a piece of metal penetrated his brain causing injuries", Duric said adding Leutar had undergone surgery. Leutar's driver and bodyguard Zeljko Cosic and Ivo Rezo, who was in the back seat of Leutar's car, sustained light injuries and were released from hospital after having been examined. Federation Interior Minister Mehmed Zilic issued a statement saying that the front part of Leutar's vehicle exploded while the car was in motion.
