PRISTINA, March 10 (Hina) - The situation in the southern Yugoslav province of Kosovo remains tense, even though Albanian, Serb, and international sources have not yet reported any open conflicts on Wednesday. The Kosovo Liberation
Army's news agency "Kosovapress" on Wednesday said that after strong clashes, which occurred in Kosovo villages bordering with Macedonia during past several days, Serb forces entered villages of Straze, Kotlina and Ivaje and looted and burned Albanian houses. The agency reported that Albanian were taken from the villages of Lace and Ivaje to the Kacanik police station, adding that the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe's (OSCE) verifiers were not allowed to places at which the clashes had occurred. Yugoslav soldiers withdrew from several locations, which they had occupied during past several days, but they were believed to have set landmines behind.(hina) it
