SARAJEVO, March 6 (Hina) - One civilian was killed in a clash with the Nato-led Stabilisation Force (SFOR) on Friday evening at Ugljevik in the northeast of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the SFOR reported today. According to the SFOR statement,
four attackers provoked SFOR soldiers in a restaurant in this town near Bijeljina. After that SFOR troops left the restaurant, but outside about 15 men assaulted them and one SFOR soldier was hit at his back by a bat. The SFOR Multinational Division Sector North claimed the soldier shot twice from his pistol in self-defence. The attackers dispersed, and SFOR soldiers came back to their base where they reported the incident. Neither attackers nor their motives are known, the SFOR statement read. The Sarajevo-based "Oslobodjenje" daily said today that Krsto
Micic, a vice president of the Ugljevik branch of the Serb Radical
Party, had been killed.
