ZAGREB, March 3 (Hina) - Experts of a German company, ADtraz, on Wednesday arrived for a two-day visit to Croatia, the Croatian Railways reported. ADtraz experts will present results of the ADtraz diesel trains' test drive on
Zagreb-Split, Zagreb-Rijeka and Zagreb-Varazdin railway lines, to the Croatian Railways Management Board members. Travelling by such trains would take less time, the HZ reported adding that a trip from Zagreb to Split would last only four and a half hours, to Rijeka two hours, and to Varazdin an hour. ADtraz experts said Croatian industry could become involved by 30 percent in the production of such trains. The German experts and the HZ will elaborate a feasibility study for usage of these trains in Croatia, and will announce the results in a month.
