of the possible ways of investing in the hotels is the purchase of the majority share of 51 per cent, with the overall investment being worth some US$200 million. This would help create 40,000 to 50,000 new jobs, representatives of the Croatian Agency for Investment Promotion told reporters on Tuesday. "Park Plaza International" was established in 1986 by a merger
between Park Plaza Group and Park Inn International. The chain
currently includes 180 hotels in 20 countries. It is based in the
United States and has offices in Europe, the Near East, India,
South-East Asia, Australia and Mexico.
