RADIC: ADRIATIC HIGHWAY SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN EUROPEAN CORRIDORS

VIENNA, March 2 (Hina) - The international symposium of European engineering associations completed its work in Vienna on Tuesday. The subject of the symposium was future European corridors, at which Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic requested that the Adriatic highway be included into European road traffic corridors. In the project of European traffic network, Croatia is trying to include its interests into European systems, Radic said. He recalled Croatia had been circumscribed during the war, when new corridors had been planned on Crete. Besides roads that have been included into the European network, such as the Posavina corridor, the Gorican-Zagreb-Rijeka road and the highway from Budapest, via Osijek and Sarajevo to Ploce, Croatia is requesting that the Adriatic highway be also included in European corridors, Radic said.
