MOSTAR, March 1 (Hina) - The United Nations Secretary-General's special rapporteur for the former Yugoslavia, Elisabeth Rehn, on Monday held talks with the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Prime Minister Frano Ljubic on establishing the
joint Croat-Bosniak interior ministry, judiciary, and budget. Due to complicated investigations, we need to have a unified police force in the same building and with one budget, Rehn told reporters after talks with Ljubic. She added the cantonal and municipal judiciary had to be organised as soon as possible so that foreign investors could believe that the rule of law existed. Rehn said she was satisfied with the security situation in the canton, particularly regarding the return of displaced persons.(hina) it
