VUKOVAR VUKOVAR, Feb 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Radio Vukovar and the Sydney-based Croatian Radio Australia established radio connections on Saturday during a broadcast dedicated to an initiative of the Croatian Foreign Ministry for the
reconstruction of war-ravaged Vukovar. During the joint broadcast, more than 20,000 Australian dollars were collected for that purpose. Croat immigrants in Australia and New Zealand who joined the initiative, have so far gathered over 162,000 Australian dollars for the reconstruction of heavily damaged church in Sotin in the outskirts of Vukovar. The action, being conducted by the Sydney-based Croatian humanitarian society "St. Bono Vukovarski" will last by May when 450,000 dollars should be collected.
