ZAGREB, Feb 18 (Hina) - Eight Croatian independent local radio stations separated from the Public Media Association and founded a new association, representatives said Thursday. The Association now comprises Zagreb's Radio 101, Radio
02 from Varazdin, the Osijek Gradski Radio, Split's Gradska Mreza, Zadar's Donat FM, Radio Dunav from Vukovar, Pula's Radio Maestral and Crikvenica's Radio DJ. "We estimated we would realise our interests more easily in an association of some dozen radio stations, instead of in an association which numbers 100," the new Association's chairman, Elvis Morina, said. Our main goals are better informing of listeners and a better financial connection among radio stations, he said.(hina) lml jn
