DANIEL BUCAN HAS NOT AND WILL NOT RESIGN

ZAGREB, Feb 14 (Hina) - Daniel Bucan remains the editor-in-chief of the Croatian Television (HTV) until his mandate expires, that is, until a public tender, Croatian Radio and Television public relations representative Kresimir Macan said on Sunday. "Following consistent reiterations of misinformation that HTV's editor-in-chief Daniel Bucan will or already has resigned, the Croatian Radio Television deems it necessary to refute such misinformation. Daniel Bucan will remain in office as HTV editor-in-chief until his mandate expires, that is, until a public tender for the new editor-in-chief in line with the new law on Croatian Radio and Television," Macan's statement said. Chairman of the Croatian Radio and Television Council, Dubravko Jelcic, called a session of the newly-formed Council for Monday. The agenda includes reaching a decision on the public tender for new editors-in-chief of the Croatian Radio and Croatian Television.
