PRISTINA, Feb 27 (Hina) - A delegation of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) will visit Washington at the beginning of March, at an invitation of the U.S. Secretary of State, Madelein Albright, the KLA news agency reported on Saturday.
They are expected to discuss the signing of a possible agreement on Kosovo and the serious situation in that conflict-ridden area. The Albanian daily "Kosova Sot", published in Pristina, reported that the Clinton Administration had invited the leader of the ethnic Albanian delegation at the recent Rambouillete conference, Hashim Thaqi, and other Albanian leaders to talks on seeking a solution for the Kosovo conflict. Another Pristina-based daily in the Albanian language, "Koha Ditore", on Saturday began publishing a transitional agreement on peace and self-rule of Kosovo, which was on principle accepted by Albanian negotiators in Rambouillete.(hina) ms
