PRISTINA, Feb 27 (Hina) - Kosovo Albanian sources in Prizren reported on Friday night that Serbian forces had carried out artillery attacks on some villages near Prizren. Serbs shelled the village of Randobrava on the pretext of
attacking alleged local headquarters of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) in the village. In the attack one Albanian was killed and two wounded, the same sources said adding that great material damage was caused as well. The two-hour fighting in the area stopped after the mediation of the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe) Verification Mission. The Kosovo Information Centre reported yesterday afternoon that Serbian forces had begun shelling five villages in the north of Kosovo.
