ZAGREB, Jan 31 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament President Vlatko Pavletic, who underwent surgery on Saturday, took the operation well and his post-operative treatment is proceeding without major problems, a doctors' consultation reported
on Sunday. A doctors' team decided that Pavletic should undergo reconstructive surgery on his chest due to the consequences of an infection he suffered after he had a multiple by-pass operation in Zurich on December 31 last year. Pavletic has been receiving medical treatment since December 7 last year, when he was admitted to Zagreb's "Dubrava" clinic after having suffered a heart attack.(hina) rml
