SARAJEVO, Feb 24 (Hina) - The Bosnian Federation Parliament on did not ratify the agreement on special relations with Croatia on Wednesday's session, due to Bosniak MPs opposing the ratification being placed on agendas of sessions of
the House of Representatives or the House of Nations held in Sarajevo on Wednesday. High representative for Bosnia-Herzegovina Carlos Westendorp forwarded a letter to the Bosnian Federation Parliament, requesting the agreement be ratified, as the deadline for its ratification had expired on February 22. Croat MPs at both Houses requested at the beginning of sessions that Westendorp's demand be fulfilled, but the Bosniak side refused this, claiming the Parliament of Bosnia-Herzegovina had to discuss the agreement before that. The Bosnian Federation Parliament's House of Nations elected two
MPs on Wednesday to the Bosnia-Herzegovina Parliament's House of
Nations.
Elected were Croat Ivo Zivkovic of the New Croat Initiative and
Bosniak Dzevad Mlaco of the Party of Democratic Action, although he
had recently been suspended from his post of Bugojno municipality
commissioner by a decision of the High Representative.
