ZAGREB, Feb 15 (Hina) - The Vice President of the Croatian National Sabor, Vladimir Seks, on Monday held talks with Walter Schwimmer, a candidate for the new Secretary-General of the Council of Europe. Seks and Schwimmer discussed
fulfilment of Croatia's obligations towards the oldest European political organisation. Seks said Croatia would pass laws on national minorities and local government and self-government by the summer 1999, thereby fulfilling further conditions set by the Council of Europe. The two officials also discussed the situation in the run-up to elections in Croatia and Austria.
