PRISTINA, Feb 10 (Hina) - Bodies of 40 ethnic Albanians, killed in

On Tuesday, the Albanian party announced that the Serb authorities
would deliver the corpses kept in Pristina for a forensic inquiry.
On Wednesday morning the families arrived from Racak in Pristina to
identify the bodies, following the request of the Serbian
authorities.
Albanians insisted that all the victims be returned together and
buried during a single funeral and also demanded that Serbian
police be barred from the site of the funeral.
On the other hand, the Serbian authorities believe that the Kosovo
Liberation Army (KLA) will use such funeral for their political
propaganda and insisted that the dead be buried on several
different days. They proposed that they would return 12 bodies on
Wednesday and 14 on each Thursday and Friday.
The OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe)
mission in Kosovo expressed concern over possibilities that the
Serbian and Albanian parties may use this event for their political
goals. International representatives called for a peaceful and
dignified funeral of the victims of the massacre in Racak.
