statement said unidentified persons killed a 26-year-old Albanian, Luigi Mataj, and seriously wounded a 23-year-old, Skenderaj Lekaj, in the municipality of Djakovica. According to the same source, Serb police forces on Monday launched a search of Albanian homes in Dobridja, a village near Djakovica, claiming they were searching for hidden weapons. Many Albanian families left their homes and looked for accommodation in Djakovica.
