PRISTINA, Jan 30 (Hina) - The situation in Kosovo on Saturday was peaceful, both Albanian and Serbian sources reported today. The information was confirmed by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) headquarters
in the province's capital of Pristina. A local human rights official in Djakovica, Fuad Haxhiberi, said that the Serbian police had transported the bodies of two Albanians to the town mortuary last night. The pro-government Media Centre in Pristina reported that one Serb was killed in his house in the village of Rakose last night. Last night's explosion in a Serb-owned cafe in Pristina, in which seven young people were wounded, and an explosion which occurred two hours later in front of a cafe in another Pristina suburb, in which there were no victims, bear witness to the mounting tensions in the province's capital.(hina) rml
