ZAGREB, Jan 27 (Hina) - After its meeting with Croatian Economy Minister Nenad Porges, the Crisis Committee for the protection of Diona employees' interests invited Diona's employees to an employee assembly on Thursday, 10:30a.m., in
front of the Company Court in Zagreb. A member of the Committee, Niko Gunjina, told Hina the decision was reached because the employees have no guarantee that creditors would drop the request for Diona's bankruptcy. The Crisis Committee is opposed to bankruptcy, and worries about the fate of 2,362 employees of Diona who could lose their jobs. The Economy Ministry proposed a model for the financial reconstruction of "Tisak" as a possible solution for Diona. Diona is a chain of stores whose owner is the owner of Tisak, the largest newspaper distributor in Croatia, which is in great debt.(hina) it mm/lml
