ZAGREB, Jan 25 (Hina) - A crisis committee was established on Monday to protect the interests of employees of "Diona", a Croatian trade giant. The crisis committee was established by representatives of "Diona's" Employees' Council,
the Trade Union of "Diona" Employees, a branch of the Croatian Commerce Trade Unions, the Association of "Diona" Small Shareholders, the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Croatia, and the Croatian Association of Trade Unions. The representatives of "Diona's" employees requested talks with "Diona" head of management Miroslav Kutle, as well as with Premier Zlatko Matesa. If no acceptable solution for is found for the employees in talks with Kutle and Matesa, the crisis committee announced convening an employee rally in front of the Trade Court in Zagreb for Thursday, when a hearing should discuss a proposal for initiating bankruptcy for "Diona".(hina) ha mm
