BELGRADE, Jan 23 (Hina) - Head of the Verification Mission of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), William Walker, told Belgrade's Radio B59 on Saturday there is a variety of evidence pointing to the fact
that massacre had occurred in Kosovo's village of Racak, including eyewitness accounts and forensic evidence. Asked what would happen if experts came to the conclusion that there was no massacre in Racak, Walker said he could not even imagine them coming to that conclusion. The best way to resolve all dilemmas was to enable the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague, Louise Arbour, to access the village. Speaking about the situation in Kosovo, Walker warned a cease-fire established in mid-December had been seriously violated by both sides.(hina) lml
