ZAGREB, Jan 21 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation, headed by Economy Minister Nenad Porges, ended its three-day visit to the Republic Korea, the Croatian Economy Ministry reported on Thursday. The Croatian delegation visited one out of
two Korean integral steel works', POSCO, the leading steel manufacturer in the world, with annual production amounting 26 million tonnes. Total sale in 1997 was US$7 billion, with profit of US$1 billion. The POSCO representatives and the Croatian delegation discussed the possibility for metal sheeting delivery to Croatian shipbuilding industry. The Croatian delegation also held talks with the Samsung representatives, and discussed two projects. Before departing, Porges held talks with Korean Trade Minister T.Y. The two ministers endorsed the attempt to accelerate negotiating
two key agreements - the agreement on encouragement and mutual
