ZAGREB, Dec 29 (Hina) - Croatian first deputy prime minister Goran Granic on Friday refuted an article in today's issue of the Nacional weekly headed "The Government Will in February Issue Bids for a Third GSM Network: Cronet, Vipnet
to Sue Government for Violation of Contract and Claim Million Compensation". "The article very harshly accuses me of actions with which I have no connection and I categorically claim not one piece of the article in which my name, the name of the Government or the Croatian Social Liberal Party hold any truth to it," Goran Granic said in a statement. He added he was very hurt by this kind of reporting and disappointed a political weekly would deal with very serious issues in such a manner. It is sad that the public is purposefully being told untruths and such untruths are in violation of the basic rules of journalistic ethics and professionalism, Granic asserted.(hina) lml
