ZAGREB, Dec 5 (Hina) - Croatian First Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic on Tuesday received a delegation of the United States Department of Defence, headed by Major General Joseph G. Gerrett, assistant deputy secretary for
international security affairs. Major General Gerrett is in the last visit to Croatia regarding the Defence Capabilities Assessment (DCA) of the Croatian Armed Forces. The DCA aims to establish the situation in the Croatian Armed Forces and, in line with an assessment by the United States, shape and direct US efforts in the field of bilateral military cooperation so that the Croatian Armed Forces could approach NATO standards as soon as possible.
